Mobilizing to Goderich

Posted on: 08-24-2011 Posted in: News & PR, Region - Central, Wind, Tornado & Hurricane

The town of Goderich, Ontario is in clean-up and recovery mode as it comes to grips with the extensive damage caused by a F3 tornado this past week. In keeping with our values to support the communities where we live and serve, we have deployed teams and equipment to the region and are preparing to begin urgent remediation work.

The powerful tornado cut straight through the centre of Goderich, damaging homes, commercial buildings and the town’s church and experts say it will take the town months to rebuild.

FirstOnSite plans to help the people and businesses of Goderich get back to normal, just as we made a commitment to the people of Slave Lake, where we still have teams helping the community rebuild.

Please join us in sending good thoughts to the residents of Goderich.

Testimonials

My husband and I were both pleased and appreciative of how quickly the repairs to the bathroom floor and hall ceiling were completed. This was accomplished with a minimal amount of disruption to our busy household. I would gladly recommend this company to my friends and colleagues finding themselves in a like situation. — Nancy, Moncton, New Brunswick
